Lack of sleep not only leaves you feeling drained throughout the day, but can lead to physical illness and increase your risk of heart disease.

Occasionally we all experience a disturbed night or disrupted sleep pattern for a short while. This can come about if you have a lot on your mind, whether they are problems or something you are looking forward to, you may struggle to get to sleep if you have coffee too close to bedtime, your partner snores, you use a computer or smartphone just before bedtime, or are disturbed by noisy neighbours or dogs barking in the night.
